How to eat our cookies

Here are the top 10 ways to enjoy a Jeni’s Southern Homemade Original Sweet & Salty Chocolate Chip Cookie.

1. Ice-Cold Milk

We all know that chocolate chip cookies were made to go with ice-cold milk, and any milk will do - cow, soy, almond, pistachio, coconut, oat, and even rice milk. Pour yourself an ice-cold glass of any kind of milk and heat up your cookie in the microwave for 10 seconds. Sit back, put the phone in airplane mode, and enjoy a warm treat.

2. Yogurt

Our cookies are delicious when crumbled up and mixed into fresh yogurt. Any yogurt will do, but we recommend unsweetened yogurt. Greek yogurt is fine but be careful mixing it up or the cookie will crumble even more. A pro tip: stay away from flavored yogurts for this treat, that way you get to taste the sweet and salty cookie blanketed by creamy cold yogurt.

3. Ice Cream

Crumble your cookie and spread it around and on top of a few scoops of your favorite ice cream. Vanilla works best, but you could also use chocolate and peanut butter ice cream. Pro tip: take the ice cream out of the freezer 15 minutes before serving it. For coffee lovers, compliment your chocolate chip cookie-crumbled ice cream with a shot of hot espresso poured directly on top of everything. The flavors, think of the flavors.

4. Milkshake

When was the last time you had a delicious chocolate chip cookie milkshake? Don’t worry, it’s not too late to try one. You’ll need a blender, some vanilla ice cream, milk, and one of our delicious chocolate chip cookies. Blend everything together, pour into tall glasses, get out some spoons and take your time to enjoy something special with a special someone.

5. Almond Spread

Some people love to spread butter or peanut butter on their cookies, as it brings together two very different textures that complement each other so well. If you like almonds, you’re in luck. A spread of almond butter on the base of one of our warm cookies is a must-try. The almond flavor doesn’t overpower the cookie and adds the moisture you crave from a cookie covered in a spread.

6. Brownie Batter

Take your brownie-making game to the next level by making chocolate chip cookie brownies. All you need is your favorite brownie batter recipe and add a crumbled Sweet & Salty Chocolate Chip Cookie (or two) and you’re on your way to a rare treat that few have ever had. Served warm, this delicious creation will satisfy both the brownie and cookie connoisseur in you and do so at the same time!

7. Pancakes

The unicorn of pancakes is the legendary chocolate chip cookie pancake. Crumble up a couple of our cookies and add to your pancake batter after you pour the batter in a hot pan- no chocolate chips needed here. Be sparing with the syrup, but not with the butter, and enjoy a spongy pancake with chunks of chocolate chip cookie. Actually, go ahead and add as much syrup as you want, just be sure to warm it up first.

8. Cupcakes

Blow everyone’s minds with the newly discovered chocolate chip cookie cupcake phenomenon. Simply add a crumbled cookie or two to your cupcake batter, bake, and frost with vanilla frosting. Too easy! The moist cupcake loaded with our Original Sweet & Salty Chocolate Chip Cookie is guaranteed to win the ribbon at your next cupcake competition.

9. Cake Pops

Who doesn’t love a cake pop? How about a chocolate chip cookie cake pop? Crumble a few of our Original Sweet & Salty Chocolate Chip Cookies and mix with some vanilla frosting into small balls, which you then stick with a stick and then dip into melted chocolate – set aside to harden. Lightly sprinkle with powdered sugar and prepare to astound all those lucky enough to get their hands on one.

10. Pudding Pops

Chocolate chip cookie pudding pops are not only fun to make, they're a blast to eat. Prepare your favorite vanilla or chocolate pudding and pour into any small mold half filled with cookie crumbles, insert a stick, and freeze. It's as simple as that and so much fun to eat.

So that's pretty much it for our top 10 ways of eating our cookies. What didn’t make the list was chocolate chip cookies crumbled over hot oatmeal (which could be quite good), cookies crumbled to make a pie crust (say what?), and pancake-battered deep-fried cookie, which is probably a thing in Scotland.

No matter how you eat one of our Original Sweet & Salty Chocolate Chip Cookies, we’re sure glad you are!
